Johney Harden started Harden’s in 1939 as Johney’s Jip Joint featuring old fashion hamburgers made with a secret seasoning and meaty homemade chili.
Rick and Sharon West bought Harden’s from Johney in 1988 and learned quickly there is an art to cooking hamburgers. Tony & Lana Rodriguez are current owners and are committed to maintaining the same old fashioned flavors and customer service of the original owner. That means old fashioned hard work and preparation. You won’t find frozen beef here. Everything is fresh prepared daily.
Preparation is the rule when it comes to Harden’s Hamburgers. It starts with cutting the onions with a razor blade and we keep the buns a little greasy. Everything is fresh and homemade, from the coleslaw to the chili.
